Lureplant thingy, Easy tactic to defeat them

Sooo have this lure plant or whatever its name is rigth next to my base which was a smartass to spawn there while i was out exploring in day 10 or so (see screenshoot gallery on most recent should pop up somewhere with my name). Either way i would love to deal with it before it eats up everything around me so any help from experienced players would be nice.

You can burn it easily if it's not RIGHT next to your base. Just plant a pinecone next to it and burn the sapling.

you can easily walk into the eyeball pinchers with a logsuit and a spear , hit them and carve a little path . The eyeball things die in 1 hit w/ a spear so just make your way to the middle then destroy the lure plant itself and replant :)

make a path through the eyes to the center bulb, and take the lure. If it does not have one, strike at only the bulb until it is destroyed. The bulb will not fight back, but any eyeplants within range will attack you- but will be destroyed in one hit.

Well if it isnt any more tactics to it than straigth up killing it then thats what ill go for, thanks!

When you kill it and get the bulb, you can plant it in like a desert and it cant spawn eyeplants there but the main bulb will still exist, and it produces leafy meat you can harvest occasionally. Just to turn your enemy into a food source. A terrible one mind you but its something to think about.

well i am not playing the RoG dlc at the current save which the plant is next to the base, but ill take note of that when i do play the RoG version.

Lureplants are easy prey anyways i just let em do there thing as long as there not too close. They keep most of the doggies off me.
