Pengull Eggs
So I am in the middle of winter, and a ton of pengulls showed up and have a butt-ton of eggs. I want to know if I can go in and grab one and not get killed.

That's wrong, you can actually take the Eggs if you are quick enough or just steal them while the Pengulls sleep.

Ok thanks. When you say quick enough, that means they'll go aggro?

They hide the eggs when you get too close to them. They don't aggro unless you attack them. You have to be quick if you want to beat them to the eggs. The Walking Stick helps.

You can also chase a pengull about a screen/screen and a half away from the flock and kill them safely without fear of getting swarmed, should you decide you also want the meat/feathers or simply don't want to race for the eggs.

It's really just a matter of luck if they leave one egg laying around at night. It is much easier to get eggs using a birdcage.

I'm pretty sure you can efficiently collect eggs by holding a torch and approaching them. That tends to get me 1-2 eggs per night.

Just place some gunpowder next to pengull nest at night and light with torch.

Yummy omelette :meaty:
