Is there a sandbox mode?

When I play this game I always set up a makeshift base, prefably by where the pigs live for protection. I set up my things and not only wish I had more stuff, but have more contral over what kind of ground there was or how the garden is set up. Is there like a sandbox mode or cheat code I can just activate during or before gameplay?

Technically what you're playing is sandbox mode, adventure mode is when you enter maxwell's door.

As for "cheat code" or changing the world, there are a lot of settings you can change such as land loop, land branching and world size when creating a game. You can also do things like increase spawn rate of materials and lower spawn rate of enemies, change the season lengths etc.

When I pressed ` I noticed the game went into some kind of code mode. Have any links to a website that has codes?

at the start before you create the world you can change a bunch of settings to make it easier or harder. i *haven't* turned off hounds to see what the game is like beyond day 22ish :P
