So my backpack disappeared.

I was being chased by hounds so I had to drop the backpack and lead the hounds to my pigs, and when I came back my pack wasn't there. Is this a bug, or what?

its possible that it burned down and everything inside turned to ash and went away, or maybe you should check the map, maybe you missed it somewhere.

It doesn't appear, and I doubt it combusted out of no where since I dropped it near some trees and they have not burned down. Oh well, RIP

However I also had a backpack bug the other day, I had a backpack on the ground storing some non essentials that I didnt have room for anywhere else (and anything left on the ground gets eaten nowadays). It was during summer and it ignited. I instinctively went to extinguish it (probably too late) and of course all that happened was I switched backpacks. So now my "good" backpack was there on the ground burning.. kind of funny.

course i immediately clicked again to put on the more valuable backpack, and it was gone. I reloaded the game and it was there again though.

I thought only red hounds were capable of combusting things though. Oh well, I was attacked by bearger shortly after so it doesn't matter, going to keep that in mind.
