HOW DO YOU UNLOCK WEBBER!!!

I have the reign of giants DLC. It said it needed an update, "sure whatever it is". Then i saw an unlocked webber but i cant unlock him with XP, how do i unlock him

Spiders have a rare chance of dropping a "Webber Skull". When this eventually drops, you place it in a dug up grave. Webber will appear and vanish, and a bunch a spiders will appear. Then he should be unlocked.

Webber is now officialy included in the RoG DLC see the pinned thread for more information of what is currently in the DLC

It's actually a bit more complicated...
Once you get his skull from the spiders, u put it in the grave. I also think you must wait for lighting to strike the grave (im not sure about that yet) Once that happens spiders will crawl out. Once u kill the spiders you unlock Webber, so you will have to be ready to fight.

i found a buryed the skull..you do need lighting to strike the grave but it seems to do it as soon as you bury him..so no having to wait forever for storms..and yes about..6ish spiders spawn from him so i suggjest using wigfred..there super easy to kill with her helm and spear

you dont need to kill the spiders. I let them kill me and i unlocked him fine. Also, lightning always strikes once you bury the skull, so no waiting either. Just get the skull, and bury it.

How I unlocked webber:
1. Go into world setting before staring up the game and raised the spider nest to lots so more spiders will spawn, lots of pigs so they will help me fight and more flint and sticks for weaponry
2. Kill as many spiders as you can before night and see if they drop Webber's skull (after my 5th or 6th spider kill they dropped his skull)
3. Go and TRY to find a graveyard and in almost every graveyard I have been too has had some gold in it. Once you have enough resources for the science machine (1 gold, 4 wood, and 4 rocks/stones) make it
4. Build the prototype shovel and dig up one of the graves (cross your fingers there isn't a ghost in the grave)
5. Put Webbers skull in there wait for the lightning to stike and he will come alive and turn into a pack of spiders.
6. Save and quit the game (you dont need to fight spiders)
7. BOOM! Webber is unlocked!!!

not at all. once you bury the skull, lightning will strike the grave, regardless of the season or current weather. it's a scripted thing once you bury the skull.

killing the spiders is not required.

Orrrr.... You can cheat and spawn in a shovel, graves, and a webber skull.
