Most Crock Pot recipes also give 5 Sanity, so they help a bit. Since you're playing as Wendy, being careful with Abigail and not summoning her for some period of time would also help you keep your Sanity up; although sleeping provides less 'benefit' in comparison to other characters, since if I remember right Wendy loses less Sanity in Darkness, combined with wearing some Sanity items should keep you in sane shape.
Another viable source of increasing sanity are Pumpkin Cookies[dont-starve-game.wikia.com]. Very easy to make and last for a decent time in your inventory. I'd say they are the best food sanity boosters in the game[dont-starve-game.wikia.com]. Simply sort the order of the foods in terms of sanity by clicking the sanity icon in the header twice so you get best to worst, to compare data.
