Can you move mushrooms?

Not even sure if they will respawn, but if they do, can you move them with the shovel?

I keep going insane and at the level I get to by then, I have had no lusk with anything except the cooked green mushrooms which seem to give me a +15 or so sanity. Have tried the top-hat as suggested by someone, and it didn't seem to do anything for me.

Digging up mushrooms will prevent them from respawning, but will give you two instead of one :-)

There are multiple pieces of crockpot food that are good sanity raisers as well. As you learn more, it gets easier and easier to manage sanity.

I just realized that picking flowers gave sanity, so I try to pick some during the twilight hours to balance the losses.
