Woodie and glommer
Currently i try to get into a new avatar: woodie. What i found out since glommer only spawns at full moon and woodie transforms at that time its basically impossible to get a glommer flower!
Was that intended as a debuff for his op transformation or overlooked ? What do other woodie fans think about this ?

It's probably NOT overlooked, and part of the whole balance thing.

Much like how Webber can't get close enough to the pig king to make trades half of the time.

it's not impossible to get glommer as woodie. i pretty much only play as woodie and i usually always get glommer for his goop.

- you'll need a lureplant (the plant that spawns eyeballs on the ground) and plant it near the glommer statue.

- right before the full moon go to the statue.

- once the night begins, you'll see the lure plant take the flower.

- you'll need to kill the lureplant before it can digest the flower (i think it takes about 20 seconds to digest).

once that is done; the lure plant is dead, glommer's flower is on the ground, and you're just going to have to wait until the werebeaver form wears off.

I managed to skip the werebeaver transformation once by crafting something whilst it was turning full moon (like, right at the start of the night). This is bloody awkward but very rewarding if you manage it as it's less risky than using a lureplant.

do you think its a bug or is that "technique" reproducing and always works ? is that legit ?

It happened. I've never even tried to do it again, but I can assure you it's legit. I'm assuming that by playing another animation whilst the werebeaver animation is supposed to be taking place (i.e. crafting something or harvesting something) then it skips it. I recall the camera zooming in as if I was going to turn into the werebeaver, but obviously I didn't. Evidently, if the animation doesn't play then you won't turn.
