How long does it take grass and saplings to regrow?

It's beem 6 days and they haven't grown back and I don't think I need manure....

Im pretty sure you do require manure, i've never really gone for long without using cheats

Saplings will grow on it's own, but you need manure for Grass Tufts.

But my saplings still haven't grown yet. It's been 6 days. Or is it supposed to take that long?

They take a while, try cooking and eating mandrakes, cooking skips a few hours, and eating skips a whole day

Grass and Sapling grow back on their own. You only need Manure if you have dug up and moved Grass (or Berry Bushes) to a new location. No idea how long they take to regrow, sorry, but my gut feeling says it's about 4 to 6 days - BUT they will not grow at all over Winter, it seems. So if you hit Winter with them harvested, they will not appear again till next Summer.
