Trading with yaarctopus

I tried to trade with yaarctopus, he accepted limpet, the meat from crab, and fish...
Is there any other thing he would accept?

He only gives a dubloon and another trash.... and I can only trade 1 item each time, because he sleeps
Do you know if he can give other thing more valuable? maybe with another item to trade with him.

not sure yet, but occasioinally I found random junk like snake oil and an empty soda can. died before I could turn it in to him though.
