manure in ship dlc

Whats best way to get manure in shipwrecked dlc in early game? Should i just go to island with monkeys and attack them? with pigs seems not working for me becose its very slow. Also i already have 1 monkey farm in me island so if i place some kind of food like berries it will produce manure?

I usually chop jungle trees until I get a 2-3 bananas (careful of snakes, especially poisonous ones), and give the bananas to a monkey, make them fight other monkeys first and then make them fight each other.

Find water Beefalo in a Marsh biome

Feed pigs flowers. About a 10 sec delay before being able to feed pig again.

gather 40 petals, then give a pig 4x Monster meat. Place petals on the ground in front of the pig, and watch what happens :)

If you find a forest packed with monkey huts, and you have no intention of using that many monkeys, breaking down the huts with a hammer is 4 or 6 poos each along with several bananas.

Late game you can use berries for this purpose. If you have a big berry farm, you can get a few stacks of manure every few days from this (as well as 2 meat and 1 pig skin from the werepig).
