Double heat stone stack?
do they do the job of one heat stone X2? (in some games stuff like this dont stack)

I remember reading somewhere that they do stack, but it's only a marginal benefit. It's better to leave one by the fire and switch them out instead of carrying two or more.

I love doing this in summer with chilled stones since it lowers my temperature a bit more, giving me that much more time and range from my base. I've expanded inventory space though, so I don't mind the space cost.

once you get proper winter gear, you can forget about your thermal stones.
i can run around all day and part of the dusk without a thermal stone with puffy jacket and a winter hat. i just keep my thermal stones in the fridge.

surely thermal stones add warmth together with your clothes?

I prefer using the equipment slot for a backpack, so I go with winter/beefalo hat and a thermal stone.
