Dragoon Eggs are RIDICULOUS

I tried putting on armour to survive atleast one hit, but that just made me overheat and die from that, I also tried putting on a shark fin hat to move quicker and be able to dodge better, but the meteors predict your movement and trying to simply dodge while on the ocean is nothing better.
How the hell do you dodge them effectively? I know you can stop meteor strikes by sacrificing a doydoy feather to the volcano altar, but I haven't even found that one yet and I can't, because in dry season you overheat faster on the volcano, so when I take off my floral shirt I instantly overheat.

In my 100 hours in Shipwrecked thus far I have never been hit by a dragoon egg. As long as you avoiding standing under the shadows you won't get hit.

For overheating, floral shirt or dumbrella will do the trick. You can also craft the tropical fan from the doydoy feathers for instant cooling down.

I have only started farming doydoys after the season has ended.
You won't believe how many times I got hit by an egg and had to CTRL+F4 out of the game because of all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ worlds I have lost.
Overheating wasn't a problem, it was that they are almost completely unpredictable.

1 ship wrecked is junk . stop using it. everything for the past 6 updates looks worse than ROG content. the tiger shark is probably the worst "giant" in the game ever. deer clops looks better

2 use headphones. you can hear if something is to your left or right and sort of up or down from you but reliably left or right. the lava rocks and dragoon eggs make a falling sound. its not hard to avoid them unless you are on the water and your boat is almost dead so you cant afford to hit waves

3) mod the game files so the summer volcano smoke isnt presnt. its dumb
