Dragon fruit seed.

Ok, i got dragon fruit item from crop. I fed bird to get me dragon fruit seed, i plant it again (still growing).
So how to make more dragon fruit seeds, if i have only one and if it goes in the process like above i wont have any seed for use to make dragonpie or if i use it once to make dragonpie i wont have dragon fruit seed anymore.
I am totally confused about it now so any advice will be good.

I'm pretty sure it drops 1-3 seeds, so it is worth doing .3.

So i was just unlucky with the first try i guess.

It's random. You sometimes will only get one seed from the bird. Sometimes the multiple seeds are just plain seeds as well, with only one being the type of fruit you fed the bird.

But eventually your dragon empire will grow, keep it up : 3

Keep feeding that bird more dragon fruit seeds and eventually it will turn into a Dragon!

You'll get 1 or 2 crop seeds and 0-1 normal seed. That means 66% of your dragonfruit will be fed to bird. Personally, I found that annoying and, stopped using farms completely. Hunting pigs and spiders and gathering cacti in nearby desert fulfill all my needs.

It's more of a long-term goal anyway, since there are more convenient foods that you can make with a fraction of the required effort.

Like 2 Honey Nuggets, which have the same effect and are much easier to make.

once winter passes, you should be able to stock up on them in spring since crops grow extremely fast.

you can try and rush the process by fertilizing them in your last couple of days.

Personally. Pierogis, Meatballs, and Honey Nuggets are some of the best crock pot foods in the game.

Have inexpensive recipes, and restore good amounts of health and hunger.

Ok now when u mentioned. How to get honey as my all tries resulted in my death. If i make beekeeper hat will that make me safe frome them?

As for the food i have nice place next to pig village in center of all bioms. I hunt rabbits and dry their meat. Only problem there is big spider nest. If i use dried monster meat and monster meat can i get lets say it 5-6 pigs to follow me or only one pig at at time can follow me?

1. Best way to get honey: build your own hive. You need to catch 4 bees with bug net (yellow, NOT red), two planks and one 'nest core' gathered from destroyed hive. Good idea is also catch few butterflys with net and 'plant' them near your hives. Bees will gather honey faster.

When hive is full of honey just grab it and RUN or use beekeeper hat to reduce dmg.

2. Yes, you can befriend as much as you want if you have enuff meat to fed them. Just be carefull with monster meat.

Beekeeper hat offers same protection as football helmet, just different materials, double durability and only works against bees. Combined with bug net, you can defeat single beehive really fast.
You can have large pig army to take on those bees, one monster meat gives you 6 minutes of loyalty, but feedig 4 monter meats turns it into werepig.

Spiders can be killed with basic traps. Kill all spiders, destroy their nest, if it's thrird tier, it'll drop eggs which you can use to replant spiders somewehere they don't bother you.

Normal nests are not a problem but this is some rly big nest with 7-8 spiders and 2-3 spider warriors and i will need some pigs to help me.

OK this spider problem is getting serious. I read and found out that this was lvl 3 spider den. After many tries with pigs i still couldn't get rid of them. Now there is even spider queen.

I rly like this place for my camp but now i think i will have to leave it.
