How to find the volcano

I merged my world to shipwrecked around day 120, since then i've been trying to find the volcano, i'm already on day 168 and nothing.

I read on the wiki that it spawns next to the corner. I explored all the 4 corners and nothing
If you're asking, yes, I am using the spyglass.

Is there a better way to find the volcano or you just need to go exploring

and what do you think guys:
should i go to the volcano or to the ruins first?

no volcano huh. that's strange. it's always near the corner of the map. map of the shipwrecked world that is.

there's not much at the volcano rly. except that you can craft flaming items. flaming spear, machete and axe and other magic items

my goal is to get coffe, and I haven't explored all the map, just the corners, and the wiki says it is GENERALY in the corner, so I think I just need to go explore more

I was expecting some other way, an easier way to find the volcano
(without finders, cause it is cheaty)

Do you know what you're looking for? It doesn't look much like a volcano - just a dark rocky area with some unique looking boulders.

Search the blobs of black on your map near the corners. Spyglasses are your friend.

You could install a mapping mod to reveal the whole map to check if there really is no volcano.
Deactivating/uninstalling the mod should revert to a covered map, although I'm not sure.

i used the map revealer trick, and I saw that there realy was a volcano, but it isn't on the corners, it is near to one of the border but right in the middle with the others.

never seen something like this
now I feel cheater because of this :(

In limited play I never got the sense that they tended to be at the corners.

Volcano can be anywhere around the edge, for most worlds its usually in a corner, but not always.
