Apart from her obvious Pig-society-related advantages, her Werepig form, far more stable than Werebeaver, allows you to scavenge through the Ruins without second thought. One can easily defeat Pugalisk by day 3, kill Queen Womant the same day (frankly, Pugalisk can be fought daily, which I recommend doing), fully explore the second island by day 5 and have a stable route set for the Aporcalypse calendar by day 15!
Werepig form is a tool that comes with basically no downsides, as you can spend your day's salary at the store and buy a stuffed eggplant or two, negating the fast hunger drain. You actually do get to keep your inventory while transformed, allowing you to scavenge, farm and boss-rush with little consequences.
In RoG, the story repeats itself, as you can and should rush the Ruins head-on. Obviously, while transformed, she can easily take on any of the four seasonal bosses, too.
Wilba is honestly so underrated, she may even be one of the best solo characters (apart from Wheeler, who still somehow is the strongest even after what her air-horn and health pool were forced to go through in that one unfortunate update, right, Klei?!).
Be the pig.
Wigfrid always survives.
Webber doesn't fail to impress, more so even after he was given the mask.
Wickerbottom is great, mainly for easy hay fever management.
I wouldn't recommend Woodie as you could just play Wilba instead, which you Should be doing.
Wilbur's speed can get him to many places, though in Hamlet, I'd rather recommend Wheeler. She's... unique.
Warly is certainly an option too, as there are many, many different and easy-to-make dishes in Hamlet.
As for Woodlegs, well, it's certainly an interesting adventure to play him in Hamlet, and you can still get the treasures with his hat!
And Woodworm is simply a joy to play. No hay fever, not ever, just imagine...
I can definitely see what mage is saying about Webber. That would be a fun alternative way to play Hamlet since you are kind of an enemy of the pigs. I will play Webber next time.
