If spring rains create flowers, that's new info to me.
"Captured Butterflies can be planted anywhere to produce a new Flower, thus making each of these items renewable. Homeless Bees can also produce Flowers over time, after pollinating 6 Flowers."
"During Spring in the Reign of Giants DLC, new Flowers will spawn without the aid of Butterflies or Bees."
"Flowers are found in Grasslands, Forests, or Savannas. They cannot be found in Marshes or Rockyland."
Doesn't seem outdated to me... Especially when the Reign of Giants dlc came out in 2014. I highly doubt that much changed over 4 almost 5 years. And Klei has been busy working on making new dlc and other games not adding to the old dlc.
