Do flowers respawn, and when?

Dont Starve ROG, I tried looking for info but everythings outdated so just wanted to check in with anyone who still plays often and knows.

also is there any conditions that spawn them, specific biomes obviously but also do bee hives need to be near by to spawn or is it just random in specific biomes, thanks in advance :)

it seems in spring rain flowers will spawn

nice thank you. Actually kinda makes sense, but if someone knows if they spawn in summer and atumn as well I'd appreciate it.

Butterflies and bees work on flowers to spawn more over time. There needs to already be at least one flower to spread them.

If spring rains create flowers, that's new info to me.

"Captured Butterflies can be planted anywhere to produce a new Flower, thus making each of these items renewable. Homeless Bees can also produce Flowers over time, after pollinating 6 Flowers."

"During Spring in the Reign of Giants DLC, new Flowers will spawn without the aid of Butterflies or Bees."

Doesn't seem outdated to me... Especially when the Reign of Giants dlc came out in 2014. I highly doubt that much changed over 4 almost 5 years. And Klei has been busy working on making new dlc and other games not adding to the old dlc.
