does the hoome ''fridge'' work ?
so i bought a house in the town and saw that you could buy a fridge for 6 coins but does the fridge actually work or is it just a fancy shelf ?, (i want to store food in it)

well you only have a limit of 6 items that can not stack so it would be a nice addition to make homes something special, kinda like a unlimited bed and the like.

yeah that way i'd make more sense to buy a house instead of just building an area near the town, i haven't found any benefit by purchasing a house yet,

Well, the house can be had for free and is a nice "Safe Space" from monsters, robbers, weather, and the dark. You can sort storage, browse recipes, and spruce it up.

You can steal the deed to the house by waiting in the Town Hall until it switches to night and the mayor falls asleep.
