Who is The Roc?

klei mentioned in the news feed a new character ive never heard of before called The Roc, anybody know what that character looks like, it kind of sounds like a new character made of rocks, like rock lobsters

Roc is a giant bird creature of mythology isn't it? Never heard of Klei mentioned it before though.

Just to clarify, "really big" means "eats elephants." And not like vultures eat elephants, either. That wouldn't be very impressive.

During the Hamlet trailer, you can see a large bird shadow at the end.

That is likely the Roc.

I might of had the name wrong I looked up the roc on YouTube and found a creature in the expansion pack called ROCA and it looks like you build the bird boss

Except it's been data-mined to hell and back and it's most definitely not made of stone. Though it does have trees and flowers growing on it.
