Shipwrecked: Dealing with poison
I've lost 3 characters to poison while spending their 3 days trying to get a venom gland now and my newest one has been searching for a source of them for 12 days.
Digging up poison puddles in swamp biomes barely yields any of them and usually gets you poisoned because their timing is all erratic and the dropchance of poisonous enemies is pretty low too.

I don't mind a challenge but how am I supposed to deal with this?
I don't have enough healing items to just wait out poison for 3 days, especially once it becomes -4 health every 5 seconds so becoming poisoned usually just means rip.

Go out to sea and kill stinkrays. They do no little damage, are very common and are a very good source of venom glands. The only problem is they poison you but if you’re already poisoned that’s not really going to be an issue.

skinrays DO dmg.. but they are easy to kill
Stinkrays are the answer. If you're already poisoned it doesn't matter that they cause it.
If you have baggins they may lock on to him giving a few free hits.

the true answer is that you shouldn't really have an issue with poison unless it is by accident. Everything that is poisonous ie. snakes, poison mosquitos and stinkrays can be kited. Death by poison is usually from the useless packim baggims, Chester would never do that to you! Chester for life!!! :p
