Best endgame combat equipment?
I've been thinking of going with one of these setups for Wolfgang (i have SW but i can't use it because one of the mods i use doesn't work with it and there isn't a similar mod that works with SW):

- Dark Sword
- Thulecite Suit
- Tam o' Shanter

Dark Sword is the hardest hitting melee weapon in the game while the Thulecite Suit / Tam o' Shanter combo should negate most of the Dark Sword's sanity drain while still giving me high defense

OR

- Thulecite Club
- Night Armor
- Tam o' Shanter

Not too convinced by this one tbh, i've heard that Thulecite Club actually drains more sanity than Dark Sword because of the tentacles which would make pairing it with the Night Armor a really bad idea. I also doubt the Tam o' Shanter is going to make any difference with that much sanity loss

Do you have better setups in mind?

Dark sword, thulecite crown and thulecite armor. Just be ready with some green or blue mushrooms to get the sanity back up

Obsidian Spear for winter, Morning Star for spring, dark sword/cutlass supreme for everything else.

Would it be overkill to replace Thulecite Armor with the Night Armor (but what kind of overkill!)? Also, even if i used the Thulecite Armor, wouldn't that still mean i would need to haul around about billion mushrooms if i wanted to kill anything without ending up as a vegetable by the time i was done?

If you dont want to deal with with sanity, go crown + suit, then club, tentactle spike or fresh hambat would be fine

Doesn't the Thulecite Club drain as much if not more sanity because of the tentacles (or so i've read, don't quote me on that)? Also, how big of a difference does it dealing 8.5 dmg less make? Also, i'd rather not use a Tentacle Spike or a Ham Bat, i've been using nothing but the latter for ages now and i really feel like upgrading to something else right about now

8,5 could be much depending on what you're fightning. But if you're only playing rog no dst, you should be just fine with tentacle spike or hambat

Screw it, i'll just go with the setup you suggested. I can handle the Dark Sword and i doubt the force field procs often enough to wreck my sanity too much (i have no real way of knowing since i've never used it before)
