Will you guys please stop shooting Cameras in Shadow Raid!!!!!!

Don't you guys know if you shoot a camera the Camera Security Guard will Contact a Guard to check out the camera ... they see the cam they contact everybody you lost!!!


I got into it with some level 33 noob who was the host keeps shooting the cams every heist in the warehouse and blaming everybody else and threatening to kick them. I told him to stop shooting cams and explain it to him then the dude says "Thats ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!" "You guys better not ruin this heist again or I kick you" I just left there was no teamwork on that anyway. There is a reason why we have ecms that block cameras come on guys..

Maybe they should have bain warn the people about shooting cams or something... Because this is annoying and its way too many people who don't know that that does it everytime... I've even seen level 80s and 90s done this mess

Oh yeah, putting it on the forums'll totally get those rare people to stop shooting those cameras.

But in all seriousness, you're just playing with noobs. Even the 80s and 90s can be noobs with the xperience bonus we're getting this month. Just host your own game, and if you catch someone shooting a cam, tell them not to do so, and if they continue doing so, kick them.

HYOG solves many host problems.

The greater issue is that the game does not explain to players how cameras work.

If there is a security room/station with someone monitoring the cameras, the operator will call a guard over to inspect a disabled camera.

If there isn't a security room/station, shooting a camera will not call over a guard.

However, guards will still spot broken cameras if they see it while patrolling around the map on their own. If a guard spots a broken camera for any reason, either being called over to inspect it or noticing one on their patrol route, they will call in an alert and trigger the alarm.

When i host shadow raid, i only open it for pubs when it's late-game, the bag carry stage, if you will. But god ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ damn it, i'm starting to consider applying a no low level player policy, had my game ruined just because the guy doesn't know that he needs to crouch when guards are eyeballing him. Or, when they dump the bags out in the open.

Actually, only on Very Hard or above. (On Shadow Raid, anyway. On most heists, it's default)

But the real solution is to never, ever play Shadow Raid on public. Unless you have a team of legit Infamous, you ain't getting through it.

had a guy pile bags right out front of the sewers once lol managed to get 3-4 stacked out there b4 the guard made his rounds lol guard "is that a gym bag?? SNAP gotta call the po-po!!!!"

it can be solo'ed although you will need a second person if your after the vault, taking out the camera room guy is a good option or if not ECMs and Camera Loop are great to have

I once did the take out cameras on the docks, that is until guards started to wander down there.

If noobs don't learn, then add their names to a blacklist to avoid joining.

No one said it should be rushed, some guards become static given enough time. I usually open the vault if i catch the civ with the card as early as 8:00-11:00.

Shooting the cams can actually be a vaild tactic. There are only 4 guards inside, instead of sneaking around rush in, destroy all cams and kill the murkies. You can ignore the cam room then and have complete freedom of the warehouse.

not really, just kill any guard that sits in front of the vault and you can get the timelock done no problem

Not always, can be more, can be less, not mention at the 5 - 6 min mark can have a chance for 4 more guards
