2. do a fresh install of the game (i backed up from a 3 month old backup file i had on my school pc)
2.A you might need to set up a VM to override the data or a second pc
3. after the game is installed replace your safe file and for the love of god don't touch anything
my best bet is that the engine got corrupted due to an outdated mod
1. go to control panel
2. uninstall nvida framevies SKD and PHYSX and the nvida app itself
3. reboot your pc
works fine for me for now let me know if any of it helps :p
There has been some speculation that the EOS integration is partly to blame; although why this is is not understood.
Have you recently had a Windows update? Some people have reported that rolling back their Windows update got rid of the issue.
You might need to disable auto-updates.
Sadly, the issue is super inconsistent amongst the playerbase; so there's no guarantee any of these solutions will work.
