For the love of God, please nerf those snipers.
They are more dangerous than 5 buldozers at once with cloaker support. At least make them miss more instead of being able to 360 noscope headshot me 3/4 times they shoot.

By default, a player has 230 health. The minimum armour a player can have (Not including the Hitman deck) is 20, with the two-piece. This means that a sniper has to deal atleast 250 damage with one shot in order to down a full-hp full-armour player. Snipers deal 240 damage on Deathwish - which means that you'd still have 10hp left after being sniped.
Someone should tell the snipers, i'm getting sick of being shoved into swansong the moment i round a corner.

You must've lost some HP before hand then. I just tried it out in game. Baited a DW sniper into shooting me with full HP, got away alive. Granted, my HP bar was basically empty and I got killed almost instantly by a grey anyway but still...

Not true--damage might be-- but on dw, a sniper will instant-down a dodge user using rogue deck even from full health even with shield up.

Personally? i don't think the one-hit k-o should be stopped in that case, but i've had SO many situations where i'm behind a building, bain hasn't even announced snipers, a teammate goes down, i run to help him, and the very moment the corner of the building isn't protecting me, i'm shoved into swansong only to THEN be warned snipers are being deployed.
It is true. From absolutely 100% full hp and full armor even on a 0-0 character (no skills no perk deck) you will not die in one shot from a DW sniper. If however you have taken even one shot to either you armor (assuming it has not regened yet) or hp and are in a suit with no additional armor or HP (including from things like friendly crew chief or armorer) you will go down. It can be hard to tell sometimes that you took a stray 10 damage bullet from a tan across the map 5 mins ago and have just been thinking you are still at full hp but that is enough to make the difference.

Snipers can be very unfair.

The biggest problems I have with snipers is that they have a tendency to pop off rapid, and accurate shots while moving into position. They don't even have to come to a full stop to accurately fire at you, which is complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. This is a huge problem on certain maps where snipers spawn in dangerously close proximity to players, where they'll do somewhere over 150 damage if they land a hit, and that's just ridiculous. If snipers actually had to take some time to lock onto a person instead of basically half a second, things would be a lot better.

The other problem I have is that Overkill has a tendency to put snipers in positions where they are obscenely difficult to spot, but they have no trouble shooting you behind the leaves of three trees and other foliage. You know, if you're going to add snipers to a map, at least put them in spots players can clearly see them. Look at White X-mas for example, where not only is the map foggy, but snipers are obscured by trees all the damn time. If you honestly think this sort of thing is okay, you're being dumb, plain and simple.

Snipers need changing IMO. A nerf? No; But if you ask me, they're broken. The quickscoping is a problem that most assuredly needs fixing, as does their hipfire sniping when the lasers are disabled, as well as changing Big Bank's C4 Escape to be less laughable with the Sniper presence.

mk then, wonder ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is up with it on my end, but, either way, the damage isn't my complaint, or the fact they can hit dodge users accurately, it's the fact they instant-hit me whenever i round a corner, i mean, i could understand running infront of windows or something, or even being stupid and running around in the open, but the very moment i walk outside the back of go bank, or round the back of the hotels in HM d1, instantly being blasted ain't fun, half the time even when i'm designated for sniper duty they end up getting shots off before they're even announced so i don't even have a CHANCE to deal with them before they can deal damage to me or my team.

They did ♥♥♥♥ all before OvK added that random "headshot" attack.

Its way easier to shove in that fake difficulty instead of programming better AI Logics.
OVK was able to improve the AI during the Loud SR/Meltdown update & they swarm together now,i'm pretty sure they can improve it way better if they tried harder.
Instead of just slapping in 5000 Snipers in spots blocked by props but they can ghost through & call it a day.

Heck Sprinting Dozers,faster reaction time on all cops,Dozer Coup de Grace,cops going through vents as a spawn point to flank & pincer attack/sandwhich the heisters,Dozer-Moses,basic but better AI Logics(2 Tazers & 1 Cloaker going for 3 different heisters at the same time,instead of all 3 focus firing on said heister. OR them waiting for an ambush where they actually target different heisters at the same time) & other stuff like that would make the game more difficult while still making it fun to fight.
But nooo,lets just slap in Snipers blocked by props BUT CAN SHOOT THROUGH THOSE & add more Trip-flash spots instead & call it a day.
Oh and before anyone ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at me,i die more to Tazers than i die to Snipers(i'd need to be on lulz-rofl-kill-time mode to die to them easily via caught off guard)

FFS,in PD:TH enemy AI was NOT ONLY more aggressive,but they were capable of doing way more organized stuff.

If you want to break it down to a semantics arguement fixing the de-sync would technically "nerf" snipers because they wouldn't be able to shoot you before they spawn anymore.

It happens to hosts more often than clients, infact as a client i can run freely as dodge and snipers can't touch me, it's when i'm host that they pop me the moment i turn a corner.

Edit: if it's caused by them shooting before "spawning" they could just add a piece of code so they can't shoot until they're in place to do so.
