Reportedly it still counts for you if you're there and at the loadout/ready screen for the last day on multi-day heists. But getting DC'd or joining a heist in progress? Nope.
Really? My crew and I love Big Oil. It's hard, but fun. Frustrating to fail because you can't just immediately try again, but so satisfying when you succeed.
Wow. Bravo. That turned out to be quite the fun challenge for us, but with a team of 4 high level and very experienced players. I can't imagine doing that solo.
My advice is the following... don't pick a crew for your missions, but pick missions your crew is best for and know the achievements you want. I'm working on the Overkill Mask, and if I get a good set of loud people, I know which missions I want. Some guys really good at stealth, let's knock out Overkill Banks.
Second, make friends, and post on the forums when you need some experts.
