How to update WSOCK32.dll?

I have looked through multiple posts having the same not starting error and people commenting to update WSOCK32.dll but how do i do that? i cant find how to do it.

WSOCK32.dll only applies if you use/have used mods. If you've never used mods, this won't exist for you.

That file is comes from SuperBLT, just download it again and replace it with your current one

Then ignore all the WSOCK32.dll and SuperBLT stuff, it doesn't apply to your situation. If you attempt to run the game's exe file, from the game folder, in Admin mode, does it give you an error code?
