Game not starting because of Mods

For those who are having issues opening the game and are using mods please follow the steps mentioned on the update

Updates may be incompatible with the mods you may have installed. Even seemingly unrelated mods may cause unexpected issues. If you are experiencing any issues with the game; try removing any mods you may have installed and try again.

This include the wsock32.dll file it should be present on your main game folder.

If you dont use any mods please try verifying your game files for any possible errors it might have happened during the updating process, this might take a while so please be patient.

Lastly if your issue persists please go to the bug report forum and make a more detailed post about in a new thread (does the game even open? does it say playing then doesnt even open? have you tried opening as admin?)

Good Morning Heisters!
SuperBLT Wrapper has been updated to comply with the latest PAYDAY 2 Update 237.

In order to get your game up and running, please follow the following steps;

1) Go to https://superblt.znix.xyz/ and Click on a highlighted text that says "Latest Release DLL"

2) Open the .zip archive and put it in your PAYDAY 2 Root Folder. Overwrite the previous .DLL if prompted to do so

Example path: D:\Steam\steamapps\common\PAYDAY 2 -
That's where you should put the WSOCK32.dll library hook file.

If you don't know how, you can as well go to your Steam Library -
Right click on PAYDAY 2 and go to Properties > Local Files > Browse and the root of your PAYDAY 2 Folder will show up.

3) Update your BeardLib with the Development Version instead if you are using it.
This one is urgent as 95% of the Mods use it.

You can find the download to it on this github repository

Once you get there, click on the Green Rectangle button and it will drop down a list of options, the one you're looking for is ``Download ZIP`` Click on it and the Developer Version of BeardLib will download right away. Upon download, open the .zip archive that you just downloaded and go to your PAYDAY 2 mods folder

If you're stuck and don't know what you're doing, here is the Direct Download;

Example path: D:\Steam\steamapps\common\PAYDAY 2\mods

In the mods folder, if you have a folder called BeardLib, please remove it and in place of the original BeardLib - put the mod folder from the archive that you just downloaded from github called PAYDAY-2-BeardLib-master into your PAYDAY 2 mods folder.

And that's it, you're all set. The game should work now perfectly fine. That is all. :)

Can you please tell me does this cause by your free epic game store release, i don't like that
EOSSDK-Win32-Shipping.dll sitting in my folder.

my game only starts without wsock32.dll. Is there a way I can fix that? I already tried reinstalling that file

No, it's just that whenever something changes most of the time the mods are not able to adapt to any change and causes crashes, this happens in most update including simple bug fixes

Until there is a superBLT update it wont work. So for the time being you would need to play without mods or wait for an update for SuperBLT
