Problems with (Staying Alive) Trophie

okay so me and my friend are trying to do (Staying Alive) But it won't pop and we have tried to kill someone with a tripmine and we have tried to not kill anyone at all. Can someone tell me what we are doing wrong please. Thanks You

i think you cant kill with your weapons only with the tripmines try that if that works

sadly i have tried to not kill with my weapon and it still did not work -_-

Use ai bot, let them kill cops. You and your friends need to use trip mine, and make sure it kill somebody. Play LOUD. Easy.

Just tried with a friend. Our only kills were Tripmines and we also had an escape. Just to be on the safe side we only had Tripmine kills there too but didn't get the Trophy.

Sidenote: DO NOT USE FIRE MINES. My crew got burned with this when we went for that trophy last night. Pun not intended. Just use standard variety trip mines and shaped charges, no Jack of All Trades.

i did it solo with maxed out trip mines and ai
i still got the trophy for it

I found it a super easy achievement. There's no difficulty requirement so you can just stroll around with an ICTV on Normal difficulty and be invincible. AI companions don't invalidate the achievement either, so they can get kills for you.

Just make sure you actually get a kill or two with the trip mines or it won't count.

I just tried this solo with 14 tripmines, 6 shaped charges, and bot AI on Overkill, and did not get the trophy despite not firing a single shot. There was no escape sequence afterwards, and I didn't buy any assets. The van was in the closer location near the back of the nightclub, not across the street.

I solo'd this on overkill, then on normal, used the jack of all trades skill, opened doors with ecm moved bags did everything to complete the heist, then let it go loud and got a few kills with tripmines... no trophy. I will tank it like one of the commenters suggested and hopefully that'll work!
