About the Heavy Zeal unit's damage

So.....someone tell me again why ovenkiel thinks it's a good idea to have the bread and butter of the force have 225 damage per shot on their full auto rifles?

For comparison ( from values that I remember ), snipers does 240 damage. Skulldozers did 100, Blackdozers does something like 300 ( most likely outdated values after the housewarming event or on OD ). So.....what reason does it have to have such high damage?

Anarchist + ICTV have 400 armor.....and that's a 2 shot. The nerfed dodge won't help at all either if the game decides your dodge fails at any moment ( or if you're really unlucky, for the whole heist ).

I know, I know, " here comes another OD complain thread, gitgudskrub ". The thing is, I HAVE finished most heists on OD, and I still think it's ridiculous.

I just don't see why normal units have the capability of doing the same range of damage as specials. Isn't normal units supposed to overwhelm via numbers, not damage?

Besides, seeing as the light Zeal units only does 67.5 damage, the really big damage delta kinda meks it look like a mistake.

OD: The first difficulty to make me realise Infiltrator is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ incredible.

Well i mean, having 48 damage resist or more makes it feel like a lot less. So my experience is skewed as a result. Take my opinion with some salt. Though there was a bit where i tried to do dodge. Holy ♥♥♥♥ I hated life when that was my build.

That's much better than I had lol. Not only was my armour stil 1 hit turf (lbv goes to what, 138ish?) but I had only 38 D / 24 crit because I wanted my desert fox so much lol.

I'm good. My infiltrator build sailed me through OD and I don't plan to make the mistake of accepting a dodge loss again.
