What happened to New Main Menu?

Did you guys stopped supporting? Or it wasn't enough to hold it ground in today's standards?

General concensus was that most people in the community didn't like it so they dropped the project. I have to admit I wasn't a fan of it either.

although i think the code for it is still in the game, just unused

That wasn't the only reason. BLT would have just adapted and continued on. The menu was poorly organized, required more clicks to get to the same places you can get to with just one click on the regular menu, and the large menu buttons gor everything was generally considered pointless and aesthetically displeasing since Payday 2 is being played on a PC, not a smartphone.

All of this plus the top row was also Content Updates, Steam Inventory, and News, which people found annoying because it was all basically adspace and putting it over the game usage buttons gave a really bad vibe.

As much as I wouldn't like it in payday, those little animated selection boxes look nice on their own merit.

Okay... wow. Looks alright I mean... but yeah pretty much what the other said... its a PC not a smartphone.... I wouldnt buy a car that run like ♥♥♥♥ even if it looks good. That seem to be that kind of idea.

I can never view YT videos in Steam without it screwing up the entire program for some reason. Thanks though. I can kinda get a vague idea by the thumbnail. Reminds me of the awful route Windows took with version 8.

Oh that thing wasn't one of my nightmares... I probably logged into game once between February and this year Crimefest just because I saw that horrible thing and didn't even bother to click on anything, just "alt + f4"ed instantly. Glad to know they removed that trash.
