[SOLVED] Impossible to join to any online game

I've read a huge amount of solutions for this issue, but althought I tried all of them I'm still unable to join to any online game.

I've tried modifying DNS, checking files integrity, re-installing the game, setting my steam profile to public, cleaning steam cache, opening router ports, etc. But without success, I'm running out of ideas...Could someone help me?

Whats the error message that appears? What level are you in game? Can you send a screen shot, it will make helping you a bit easier

First of all, thanks for your help.

I've just installed the game so I'm new and I'm the lowest level.
I bought this game to play online with my friends, so the idea basically was to hosting our own missions.

The problem is that I'm unable to join to any quick game (I've set the minimum required level to zero) or hosting my own game (friends can't join to mine and I can't join to theirs neither), howerver my friends, being also newbies, can do it among them.

I've installed the spanish version of the game, so the messages appeared are in this language, but basically they say : " You cannot join to the game" (or "Failed to join game" )

This is a very unusual issue. It seems you've tried everything! Have you checked if you've got any mods. Also try installing the english version (although I doubt this will help). Have you completed the tutorial missions. Recently a friend started playing and he was unable to join without finishing the tutorial.

Have you allowed payday and steam past your firewall. This also was an issue for me when I installed payday into my new computer. I couldn't join any because I haven't allowed payday through my windows firewall!

Hi,
of course the next apps are allowed in the firewall (Windows Defender):

Payday 2, payday2-win32_release, Steam Client bootstrapper and Steam Web Helper ...In fact, the behaviour is the same althought I deactivate the firewall.

Something is blocking the connection, but I cant find out which is the guilty.

ps: Now the game is in english language with the same result...I'm goint to try to finish the tutorial's missions.

Try clear your steam cache.

Someone also mentioned that they couldn't join due to a slow internet connection. If your connection is too slow it will timeout and disconnect.

Get back to me asap as im going offline very soon and I can't help for another 12 hours (until i come back online).

All is done but without good results.
I've checked the connection with wireshark and I'm only see a connection (DNS protocol) to steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net

You've tried the links I sent? Have you tried on another device or with a different Internet connection? It seems the most easiest fixes might do the trick!
If you still can't join I'm out of ideas. I'm sure if you tried a different internet connection. You might narrow down your issue. Until then good luck.

Try crime.net instead of quickplay. From there choose a heist under contract_broker choose what difficulty you wanna play and other limitations. when that is done invite your friends by clicking on the tab saying just invite friends.

It seems from his comment he has been. But I've ignored it because he said he was with friends (that are slightly more experienced) and that he's got a good knowledge when it comes to IT. But man... if that's the reason.

Saw quickplay in his post and remembered reading about people having problems using it so. Anyway really nice of you trying to help out regardless.
