Best weapons for mayhem?

Did you use silencer skills and overkill? It trashes literally every enemy on DW.

Not really because overkill is overwhelmingly easy, mayhem is alright but I want to be able to make mayhem my normal difficulty so I'm trying out some new builds and weapons for it, should I get the silencer skills and put silencers on my shotguns?

There are a skill named "Overkill"

Use any weapon you would on DW, Mayhem is DW where cops do less damage. I prefer to hit the 192 damage breakpoint, which a CAR DMR does with Silent Killer basic.

Basically this. If you don't do enough damage on DW and you've taken damage enhancing skills then just slap a silencer on the gun and grab Silent Killer basic/aced.

If you're using a shotgun to kill cops and not just for utility (HE rounds) you're shooting yourself in the foot by not taking Overkill basic.

Weapons that are good for DW.

It can mainly depend on your play style, and you level. If your looking for pure damage output than I can suggest a shotgun with skills. If you are playing a dodge build than almost any akimbo pistols are good, and for your secondary you can use either use the judge shotgun, or the STRYK full auto pistol. I hope that this helped you out. :D

shotguns with their tree are the new easy mode , sorry if you are having trouble with them then you must be doing something wrong on your end

I've never played DW or higher tho, unless its stealth. 450+ hours of OVK.

I use a sociopath build, max armor with the speed of someone in a two-piece suit without running skills. I also have higher damage on melee skills so I can regen my health. I also get the shotgun skills.
