But to their defense, the range is amazing. I can counter snipe across goat sim with a judge lmao.
he just doesn't give a F***
(if you know what a minigun can actually do irl).
what about a rpg in the face? that sh*t is meant to be a tank-buster...
he still doesn't give a f*ck!!!
like...
wat?.
Unless the newest update borked it somehow, I don't see why it wouldn't pierce tans for other people.
....unless you guys are talking about punching through tans/shields and hurting whatever's behind them
>Sentry can accept "ammo" from the OVE9000 Saw Blades.
This game sometimes.
2. It DOES penetrate tan's body armor on every difficulty with a 100% chance, identically to Surefire Aced effect. However, it DOESN'T deal any damage through shields or other enemies at all. [Thanks to Jack Corvus for the correction].
3. For the most part of shotguns: Flechette will slightly decrease the spread of the pellet and, as a result, the chance of getting 2x,3x kills becomes lower too.
4. Flechette is used for killing the snipers, in most cases. If you have 2 shotguns in your loadout, this type of ammunition is a must have for one of the guns.
5. Of all the shotguns, the 3 best working with Flechette are GSPS, Breaker and The Judge. While the worst being double-barrel shotguns (Mosconi and Joceline)
6. Just one small tip: in shotgun-based builds Flechette is by far the best type of ammunition you can have, especially with this kind of skill combination : Overkill + Low Blow + Shotgun Impact + Specialized Killing (this gives you +955,(5)% damage [IF: headshot multiplier is x2 and base gun's damage is 100; each skill being triggered]. Using it in non shotgun-based builds or without proper skills might be pointless, as there will be no significant difference with Buckshot 000 at close range distance. But on the distance of 25 or more meters Flechette rounds will deal more damage then Buckshot in 95% cases.
That's all you need to know about Flechette in Payday 2.
