Is anarchist worth it?

I might buy Sydney Character Pack just to get the anarchist perk deck so I can increase my survivability in higher difficulties and don't require to constantly take cover, but is it worth it (especially on death sentence)?

As for the other things featured in the pack: the melee looks cool, I'm definitely going to use it. Sydney might be my secondary character when my primary is already being used, she seems pretty cool. Don't know about the bootleg AR though, I'll check it out I guess.

The Anarchist perk deck is one of the best in the game due to armor gating and it's quite efficent in DS. The Bootleg rifle is weak and mods don't add much to it. The wing aka butterfly knife is useless.

Is it worth it?
Definitely yes. Mostly for the perk deck.

No. You don't need the perk deck since there are stronger decks that don't require dlc even. The Anarchist deck is a low skill deck that relies on a cheap mechanic. Sure, someone with a lot of hours can use and abuse it well, but it is difficult to use correctly if you don't already know what you are doing.

is a very nice pack the rifle is useless but has some style for it, mostly of the use on this dlc is on the perk deck you don't need much for it to work on death sentence or pretty much a quick way to get on death wish, the character is on you and the knife gets boring after a while

It's fun for Death Wish, but it'll become a paper armor for Death Sentence (Except if attacked from long range. Snipers are exception and still able to shot through both armor and health simultaneously).

If you really want to use Anarchist, consider to add these skills to your build.

In general, consider to at invest on these:
- Duck and Cover (Basic. Faster movement and more Stamina)
- Parkour (Basic. Also adds a bit more movement speed. Aced is a must if you have some spare points in order to allow you reload while running)
- Lock N' Load (Basic. Allows you to sprint and shoot simultaneously. An excellent combo with Aced Parkour minus reload cancel animation unless you swing the melee, change weapons, throwing projectiles, and interrupted by 'Downed' phase / tazed to the ground / Cloak'd)
- Second Wind (Optional either Basic or Aced. This increase movement speed when your armor completely depleted).
- Bull's Eye (Aced. +25 armor bonus every successful headshot with 2 seconds cooldown)

Lightweight Ballistic Vest (or other ballistic vests), runs super fast but 100 less armor points:
- Resilience (Basic. 15%+ armor recovery rate)
- Die Hard (Aced. 50% dmg resistance while interacting and 20+ armor points for Ballistic vests.)
- Shock and Awe (Basic. Aced is Optional depends your gameplay style).
- Iron Man (Basic. 30% more armor value)

ICTV, almost as slow as turtle but 100 more armor points:
- Resilience (Aced. 15%+ armor recovery rate and 75% shorter flashbang duration effect)
- Die Hard (Basic)
- Shock and Awe (Basic. Aced is Optional depends your gameplay style).
- Iron Man (Aced. 30% more armor value and grants access to ICTV)

... And uh, Bootleg AR is a meme gun by the way. Consider to get KSP from Gage LMG DLC Pack instead.

I use Anarchist on my Berserker Shotgun build. Berserker + Frenzy + Bullseye + Overkill + Brothers Grimm makes for a hilarious combo, especially with a two-piece suit. I have no idea why I made it like that, though. Seem to recall people complaining about shtoguns and Berserker being overpowered at one point, so I tossed a build together as an experiment. It's been, what? 2-3 years now?

Yes if you go into the bundle they are sold separately priced I purchased Sydney Pack and Shot gun pack for £0.79 each 3 days ago less than the price of a chocolate bar. Snipers are a nightmare with the Anarchist deck! but i run it with shotgun crits and LBV makes mayhem to easy!

I did not know it was locked when i purchased the game it came with the DLC heists a few years ago. I have just started getting back into Payday and these 2 DLC was all I wanted for the shotgun HE rounds and Anarchist perk deck. At £1.58 or €1.84 cheaper than a bag of chips and much more fun!

Go for it OP its well worth the money!

It is low skill because new players just think it is godmode for them and play it completely brainlessly and also hard to use well because you need to line up timers effectively and it is a lot of effort. It's just not a great deck unless you already have a lot of experience in the game.
