It's no new opinion. The whole point of the heist was a promotional one and the general stealth/loud design is not logical at all.

But Alesso heist was made before the collab, there's hints to it in the level with the stage model only being gensec with elephant ties, they seem to have gotten Alesso in to fill the empty slot of the arena and went with it. (Similar to how the motel from Hotline miami is hinted to have been for an elephant heist also)

Well, the excessive advertising, the fact you can't change the heist's music is inconvenient, the map in general is incredibly disorienting especially to newcomers and isn't satisfying to play through due to its literal linearity (The level itself doesn't have many alternate pathways through areas, especially if the right side-rooms don't spawn), the map has far too many loot bags that are slow to carry and have a low value, the forklift is totally unnecessary and actually makes the heist a lot worse due to how awkward it is to properly position, and the zipline is one of the most annoying to use in the entire game because it essentially mandates you have one party on both sides, which also means they have to be essentially on other sides of the map due to the way the level is structured.

Buut this post doesn't really go into that very much, so I guess they could dislike it because they think it's too purple or something.

It hardly lets you case anything at all while you do have a casing mode. Which is really important to me as I learn through stealth heists.

I don't know I guess. The music blaring through my ears the entire heist, loud or stealth really annoys me.

It's awesome fun. I like the novelty of the spcial music for it and it has unique features. It's great fun in stealth with a team and has the bonus of being able to be played in loud so those who don't play stealth heists can have fun with it too.

Remember when people complained that PD:TH had unique soundtracks for heists? Now one heist has it and people hate it.

There is a huge differece between being able turn the music down and having it blast in your ears the whole damn time.

The heist is at its most annoying during the firework sequence where the music is at its loudest and you have to play a lame and slow guitar hero-esque mini game.

The only part I hate about the heist is the bag moving. From the basement all the way to the second floor. Sheesh at least allow the zipline to go all the way into the container.

Other than that this heist is solid. PD2 didn't have a lot of epic convoluted heists (ones similar to Panic Room or Slaughterhouse). The Alesso heist is one of them and that's why I like it.
