That's good to know. I am going to have to ask a really dumb question just to make sure I understand this correctly: only the first and last crates matter and the rest can be opened in whichever order you want?

The upstairs one are RNG.
The bottom one can only spawn 4 bags because the 2 crates in question miss the proper checks.

Off-topic, but I find this little "easter egg" of a bug to be excessively annoying. It's obviously not working as intended, it's very prone to mistake and it's very easy to ♥♥♥♥ up for people who don't know about it (which in my experience is most people). The amount of time I've had to argue with people and yell at people and steal their crowbars and not announce extra crowbars I've found and so on has probably taken a year off my life.

I would be perfectly happy for those crates to be fixed and an extra set of ingredients hidden throughout the apartments like the various money bundles and crowbars are. We get to keep the extra set (for a maximum of 7), we still have to work for it, but we don't have to actively fight with our own team to achieve it.

It's been around since the heist's release.
If you recal, the one time you were (un)fortunate enough to end up in my game, i booted you for opening what i said was 'the wrong ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crate' (or some other obscenities along those lines), after i had instructed eveyone to not touch the crates.

Hell, this is why i kick players who take crowbars and who won't talk in the chat to confirm they understand that they're not to touch the bloody crates.
