Is Carry Stacker a cheat?

I want to have some realism in my payday 2 heists, why i can carry only 1 painting is beyond me.
Is it a cheat or is it fine as long as i host only private lobbies?

It’s a gameplay mechanic to make the game more challenging. If you really cared about realism you wouldn’t use inspire, nine lives or swan song.

You have access to ability that give you advantage, normal player cant do it.

It is cheat or not?

In offline mode i dont care, but if you ask me its enough reason to kick drom my lobby.

It doesn't work in other people's lobbies, only yours. So everyone gets the advantage as long as they're in your lobby.

I don't use them, because i know how to take cover to not die.

Depends on how you use it imho.

It's obviously cheating if you can sprint with all of the Overdrill gold, but if say, carrying 2 or 3 bags of gold was the old Big Oil engine carry weight then there's not too much of an issue. Basically, don't abuse it.

Your pd2stats says otherwise. You currently have 9 lives, swan song and feign death aced equipped in your current build.

Was playing in a friend's lobby, not mine. He wanted me to take them and host is boss.

The point of all this is these skills and restrictions are part of the core gameplay methanics of payday 2. They don't have to make perfect sense. I failed to complete Scarface stealth in 13 minutes for the achievement, missed it by 28 seconds because carrying bags solo took over 2 minutes. Did I complain and use carry stacker? No, I kept trying until I got it (with the help of pubs).

If you want to use carry stacker, which is a cheat, that's on you. Just don't try to pawn it off as 'realism'.

Realism? You couldn't even carry one bag of gold if you're talking about realism.

That and like... This, along with people being able to open lockboxes instantly all at once, or that godmode in the middle of the crossroads while going AFK...?

It's all the same to me, it's cheating, and personally makes me feel useless as one of four in what's supposed to be a team game. :/

It's useful, but considered a cheat. Using it in offline or private lobbies is the way to go, if the mod is going to be used.
