Cursed kill room thoughts
I like this heist, I think its fun and enjoyable, sure it can get annoying playing it over and over but you shouldn't be playing a heist over and over. Of course it gets annoying.

Ok now lemme do some lists here

The stuff that needs improving

I find the concept to be good. But maybe more types of cloaker loot could be nice. Like cloaker varients of gold, paintings, money, meth, etc. Not just cloaker cocaine.

The Burning map thing should be a thing that happens say when you fail a safe or out of pure chance for a short time. Not "oh hey xd the entire map is burning good luck nerd"

I will admit, an entire heist based on a MINI GAME is kinda dumb. If your gonna use a good thing from a bad heist, why not use a good thing from a good heist cough prison nightmare cough

Maybe there could be another mini game that happens by chance where instead of a safe, you have to run around the map shooting cop targets that pop up. Sorta the kill house right now but more active.

The bad stuff

Cloaker cocaine seems like it should be lighter. Cause I think cloaker gold is the same weight as regular gold.

OD is kinda broke. No od units spawn besides Zeal dozers (i think)

The burning map thing's screen filter is bad with flashbangs. Which is the same filter used for when you're close to a meth lab (No not you lab rats)

Alright thats my long opinion on cursed kill room. What are all of your thoughts? What else could be improved? What should be removed?

I'm so frustrated with the idea that whoever presses the button to spawn a sin mask decides for the whole group. It should either be per player or completing the heist with X amount of money should award a repeating event-specific side job that awards the player a mask of their choice (much like how side jobs right now award a weapon mod more or less of the player's choice, but they get exactly what they want and the side job then resets). It's easy to join a lobby and have an overzealous or excitable guest (usually like level 57 or something, non-Infamous) click the Greed mask or whatever when the other 3 players already have five from this exact situation unfolding every other time.

That said, the new masks are all incredibly interesting and I get making a mini-game heist for the limited run event, see Safehouse Nightmare (defend the drill during random events and intense enemy spawns), Lab Rats (the meth cooking mini-game but taken up to 11, includes boss fight I won't go anywhere near and haven't beaten the mission because of), Prison Nightmare (spin the wheel and secure infinite loot, then brave nightmarish enemy spawns to win). I get it and with this being an exclusive event, it just makes sense to me. I wish the mask spawns were different but that kinda increases the pressure, everyone has to be in agreement before they get to that point because the timer's still ticking down. Unless it stops/you need to exit the Kill Floor to claim it, then whatever.

The reason there are no zeal units is because they don't have zombie models. The FBI units still work the same.

One thing I dislike is the RNG change in themes, I especially dislike the snowy theme that sometimes spawn. It's too bright and just doesn't fit the idea of a halloween heist


Lack of cover is also annoying on higher diffs
it's feel so...rushed to me.it's just running,wait and loot.prision nightmare or lab rats bought something really interessting and kinda new.this....meh.the bloody ouitfts of the cops are cool.the mask as well.i do not really enjoy this time limit. but it's okay in my opinion.could be worse

The Time Limit, I don't fully understand, yes, it's the kill room, but why is it there? The Masks could just be a reward for completeing a certain amount of waves in a row, speaking of which... only the Greed or Wrath masks are honestly worth it in my eyes, the others are a pass imo. The gimmick can also be a little annoying, greatly annoying if it decides to light the place on fire, also, the safe defending really doesn't pair well with higher difficulties due to enemy damage, if there are a few good things i can say about it, it doesn't overstay its welcome due to the time limit, they at least show mercy with Enemy aggression when defending a safe, the cop models and voices are pretty cool and most importantly, at least it's not Lab Rats.

On first impressions, I don't like the fact that there is a timer and it shouldn't be there. As 794redfield already said, masks can be a reward based on how many waves you choose to play.

Also, the lack of cover is another problem. This heist is basically a maze.

The time limit is the only reason it is an actually good infinite/defense heist, and not a borefest like ♥♥♥♥ Off and Safehouse Raid.

I played it 7 times for the masks then stopped. I appreciate that ovk took the time and effort to give us a new event map but it's admittedly a little underwhelming.

I liked it as a whole and the song is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome.

One thing I could complain about is some of the safe spawns, like in the middle of the rooms you have to defend from pretty much everywhere (including ledges, hallways and stuff like that), or the one under the stairs, where you just have to defend both stairs and that broken gap midway.

Did anyone discover who did 8Bits are scary?

At least this heist has no annoying limited time difficulty achievement like the safehouse nightmare.

That being said, it felt rushed. The 'protect the safe' thing supposedly be an optional mini-game and i find it annoying that it become the main objective in this heist.

The most confusing thing about this 'heist' is that even if you failed to 'protect' a safe , you still can 'suceed' the heist given that you survive; this just plainly doesn't make sense and frankly all the purpose of having objective fails here, making it, to most people, not fun.
