Another shotgun? Atleast let it be secondary. But then it will have ♥♥♥♥ ammo and damage.. hmm

loco says hello. They can make useful secondaries. And before you say it is bad let me remind you the loco is similar to the raven wich is one of the most loved shotgun in the game. Except for the total capacity in the "mag". Even with that thought its far from being unusable. They can make good ones... and we certaintly need more secondaries.

Its not about can or can not, its about will or will not. There are custom secondary shotties that behave like primaries, but there has to be drawn a line in terms of ammo pickup, damage or other stats.

I don't see where drawing a line as you say can make a gun useless. Sure there will be a line or might as well release guns with 2000dmg and high rate of fire and give unlimited ammo on top of it. Overkill is perfectly able to release a balanced weapon. The last dlc "Scarface" did introduce one such things. The little friend is "according to most people" the most balanced gun overkill released during the whole 2016.

Locomotive: It's the gun Overkill stated they deliberately made overpowered.

Judge: The best shotgun for people who don't like shotguns. The thing's versatile and doesn't need shotgun skills to work efficiently.

Goliath: I'm not a shotgun user and even I can appreciate that this gun is a godlike monstrosity in the right hands.

GSPS: Much like the Judge except more geared towards low concealment players.

Street Sweeper: Probably the worst secondary shotgun in the game, but even then if you don't have the +15 magazine skill boost for the Goliath this is probably a better pick that the Goliath overall.

The difference between primary and secondary shotguns is almost null.

Not to make it useless, but to make it less like a primary would be. Having a primary as a secondary puts the "secondary" out of place

And still each of those secondaries usually meets their end of the line in some way. Judge is lacking mods, Loco is a smaller Reinfeld (not much to do about that), Goliath and sweeper are basically the same even if their mods point in 2 directions each, GSPS needs its mods to get to a concealment level the Judge has as a community weapon. See what I mean?

Trust me it won't happen for shotguns. Rifle build use secondary shotties as utility same goes for people using primary shotguns. I wouldnt be too worried about that just because of the way the game is structured. No worries dude, by design they can hardly ♥♥♥♥ that up.

We already have secondaries that are arguable upgrades from primary equivalents (Krinkov). If you want this approach to balancing you're going to have to also say existing guns also need to be rebalanced to fit this- Otherwise you're pretty much suggesting making an underpowered POS shotgun nobody's gonna use in favor of the other excellent secondary shotguns.

As the game exists currently, a balanced secondary shotgun will be a pretty good weapon. If you want to change the balance that's fine but that's not what's being discussed.

...No.

The Judge doesn't need weapon mods. Mods can affect the versatilty of a weapon but there's nothing stopping a weapon from having base stats that speak for themselves, and the Judge's versatility comes in the form of the shotgun ammo types and the base concelament anyway.

Loco is indeed a smaller Reinfield but the Reinfield's advantages over it are basically worthless anyway.

The Goliath and the Sweeper being similar doesn't have any relation to them "Meeting their end of the line". It just means they're not unique.

The GSPS needing mods is totally irrelevant, and I even specifically said that IMO the GSPS is a better choice for low concealment players.

So let's break down how the KWG would be in-game real quick:

1. First off, the gun has a box magazine, so Close By aced will work. That means the gun gets 15 extra shots. because of this, it will easily outclass most other guns in terms of ammo aside from other mag shotguns, so we're going to say it'll have low shotgun damage (The ~60 the Street Sweeper and the like have).

2. It has no stock or anything, it's shaped like a pistol, so low stability but high concealment, like the Judge.

3. It has minimal places for modifications, being so small.

So essentially, the KWG would be a brother to the Judge, a pocket-sized Goliath/Street Sweeper you can slap a barrel ext. and sight on, carry around, and unload into hallways incredibly quick, not so much the rapid Dozer destroyer the Judge was with its 160-249 damage. I think it has a bit of potential done that way, but I don't see it being used much. It'd pretty much be a Goliath with the recoil of the Judge. I could take it or leave it. OVK would have to do something incredibly stupid to make this thing a competitor for the GSPS/Judge.

Need a pic or a video of what you are talking about.

Is it this?

Or this?

Yes, that is pump shotgun that looks like a smg, with a 37mm launcher on the top of that.

From what I've found, I assume that's not even a real gun.
Back when we heard we were getting a new shotty during the Housewarming, I found this beast:

http://rare.us/story/this-beastly-suppressed-12-gauge-has-a-30-round-drum-and-he-shoots-it-all-in-10-seconds/

Most of the mods on the gun in that video are, not surprisingly, already in the game, so it'd be a pretty easy fit.

But I'm having trouble finding the KWG. In fact this thread came up as the fifth Google result. Typo?
