Any rhyme or reason to the "Sioux" skin?
Just quickly looking over some of the stickers/ designs on some of the John Wick Skins. An Epic skin that goes by the name of "Sioux" (Akimbo Compact-5 Submachine Guns) has a set of Roman Numerials on the side.

X.XIII.MMXIV

The periods in place act as spacing inbetween, implying its three numbers rather then one individual number.

10, 13, and 2014

This could be implying a date - October 13th, 2014.

I originally thought 10/13/2014 was focused around the original John Wick film, but the film released in Theaters on October 24th, 2014 (In the United States).

So then I thought it might've been related to John Wicks debut in PAYDAY 2, wrong again. John Wick was added into the game on October 22th, 2014 in Update #40. His Character Trailer was also uploaded on OVERKILL Software's Youtube channel on the same day.

Anyone got an idea of anything relevant that could of happened on October 13th, 2014?

(Also the name of the skin is related to Native Americans or something, I didn't look too much into that...)

Sioux is a slang word for "Little Demons/Devils." Word doesn't exist in a language though. No idea 'bout the numbers.

The only PD2 news posted on that day is this, although I don't see any relevance.

I did some digging and came up with something that is relevant, though I don't know the significance. Columbus Day is celebrated every year on the second Monday of October, which happened to be the 13th in 2014. At first I thought that's all there might be to it, a day about Christopher Columbus, and it was a bit of a stretch that you could connect that to something involving the Native Americans. However, I then found something called Native American Day.

"Since 1990, the second Monday in October has been celebrated as Native American Day in South Dakota." Well, turns out the Sioux tribes were indigenous to South Dakota and its neighboring states. But, although I found a possible connection to all of this, I can't yet figure out what all of this has to do with a gun skin.

If I'm not mistaken, 10/13/2014 was the beginning of the crimefest in which John Wick was introduced

Perhaps we're looking at this the wrong way.

Maybe we shouldn't be asking what could be referenced in the date, but what ALL could be referenced in the date. Perhaps it is pure coincidence that Native American Day AND John Wick's Premire were on that day, and they're both referenced here because of this pure coincidence.

I wouldn't say that, Crimefest 2014 was widely received very positively with the release of Hoxton Breakout, old Hoxton, and was generally thought to be a good event after completely revamping the skills system replacing tier bonuses with perk decks and adding he fugitive tree.

To my understanding Hypefest and the prerelease of the Completely Overkill Pack and culminated with Infamy 2.0 was the start of the downfall. (Which still was a pretty good event)
