Why Hack PD2?

I get why people hack. To gain an advantage over other users or to just troll. But none of that applies in PD2. There is no PvP so hacking 25-100 and all DLC weps etc does you no good there, and there is no way to troll people other than ruining their missions which doesn't require hacks.

So whats the point of hacking this game? It will bring you no entertainment and in the end all you have done is pay $20 to own a rank that offers you nothing. Seems like you take all the fun out of PD2 when you hack.

The challenge is all this game has, if you take that away you are left with nothing. So Ill ask to all, whats the point of hacking pd2?

I have used cheats.But only due to me not being able to pay up for all the DLC's. I hate being stuck behind a paywallwith all these DLC's that offer new heists and guns. And i just don't have the cash to buy all of them due to new ones comming out almost every third week. It is a really annoying feeling to go to the buy weapon menu for example and see over half of the entire shop is locked off due to you not owning this and that. I am not saying anything bad about the DLC's. Just that not everyone can afford all of them.

Oh and if anyone knows a way to do like a "True reset" with your stuff. Like have it all removed. Be kind and let me know! Been looking for an option to do that for agesdue to me accidently adding 1 of everything...

I can see why people would do it to have fun. But they could keep it away from puplic games atleast. Or do as people suggested to make their own lobby and warn people that joins that cheats are used in this lobby so they have a chance to leave if they don't want that.

Exept its not like stealing a sportscar. At all.... Infact. This is a PvE game. Not a PvP. Hacking as you call it does not play a big role as it would had it been a PvP. I still think that most of the features in the said cheat/hack/whatever are wrong and should not be used. But i still think it is a great tool to messing about by yourself or in a private session. Or to use it as i do. To enjoy some of the content locked behind a wall for me and others. I am a simple student. Who has loans and other things to pay. I can't go pump all of the cash into videogames. And while it is true that i could go and buy the DLC's i want. What if i like them all? I like Payday 2. It is a good game and one i can find myself play at any time. I'd love to buy the DLC's and luckily they often come on sale and i get my chances to get em with the few cash i have. But that is not the reality i live in. I am not happy about opening a game menu (and i know for a fact that others don't like this neither) and find items locked behind paywalls that are stuff that could change ways you play. Something to add these so called challenges that you talk and praise highly about. Not to mention the achivements associated with the packs. So yea i think i can use the "broke ass ****" excuse when it's true. And good for you for buying them at full price! I am glad you are a wealthy being! But not everyone is!

You are not a true Payday player if you hack. It doesn't make you good at the game. Hours and dedication only give you a true satisfaction and accomplishment in Payday 2.

Common thing I hear from cheaters/modders is that "It's just for fun." "I'm not harming anyone."
But then I join heists with new players who have only experienced their version of the game and do not know what pagers are thanks to silent assassin, and end up running through the map leaving a trail of unanswered pagers.
Join rats/cook off and people are unable to cook meth without a mod that tells them what to do, because they refuse to accept Bain's help.
Just look at all the new players who join DW/OD heists thinking they can handle it because they got rolled out the red carpet by mods the first time, and ruin the game for people who actually want to play.

When cheaters/modders aren't playing alone, they are harming the community.

All you did was bog down your response with a bunch on nonsense that has NOTHING to do with my comment. Stealing is Stealing whether its pvp, pve, or anything else. If you cared to read you would see that I state im not rich in fact im broke most of the time. Yet I still find $5 here and there to support the devs.

Even when I don't have the cash I wait until I do. It doesn't give someone the right to STEAL because "They can't afford it".

This is still just a videogame with virtual DLC's we are talking about. I'd not concider it stealing when charging money for small packs with 1 heist at a time. The real steal is the fact we just let it slip and allow the ammount of DLC's that are currently out.

Go get clicker heroes. its free I think and you can leave your comp running all night and when you wake up you have more levels completed.

Hell you dont have enough encouragement to get a job or do chores for money, I cant expect you to want to do anything in a game, thus the reason you want hacks.
