You might be mis-remembering since you're not mentioning; we had a much worse idle cloaker noise on release.
They saw fit to change that noise, thank god. I almost stopped playing because of it. I can handle 'the new one' these days. You should give it a listen and see if it still bothers you, Sev.

I don't see why you need to get me to prove it. I'm responding for the sake of the OP, not your indulgences.
You might as well ask if you can trust a wikia, in which case I'm really not interested in developing my responses. No offense, just don't see the point.
I hope it's to your liking; it might even be a bit too faint, now. I remember that being the case when they first changed it, that I was so used to the louder version I was less able to pick up on Cloakers being around.
Yeah, that was a bad change... Good for people who don't like cloakers. Not good for me. I'd prefer more Sam Fishers than Hurt Locker Dweebs on the ground.
