Welp, Crime Spree is some kind of Pro Jobs, since if you'll fail heist, then you need bail or pay A LOT of coins to continue heisting. :conwayshrug:

Because they sucked.

The reason why Pro Jobs existed (or at least why I think they did, I may well be wrong) was to give contracts value, so failure had a penalty aside from simply wasting your time. You'd have the days reset and you'd have to re-buy the contract, and that needed to be a feature so that players would continue playing after, for example, getting the alarm blown on stealth. For a proper "heist simulator", you can't have a game where players will restart upon anything going wrong, you need players to try to work with their own failures.

The issue is that it didn't work. It just had absolutely no value as a feature because its intended purpose was a total failure, so it was scrapped in favor of Crime Spree that actually makes the idea of jobs where you can't restart half-decent.

People simply didn't play pro jobs. That's it, really.
Why people didn't play them I have no idea (besides there barely being any, I mean), with Lexi probably pointing out the reason: It didn't matter as people restarted anyway in those by rebuying the heist in question.

Because payday crew is not professional anymore. The went from quality to quantity.

They could (any many people thought that's the case, for fuq sake) just make a mutator...

Fair enough. I like how they paid Wilko to implement this great system, only to have it rot in abandonment. Because throwing cash and dev time into the toilet is good thing, yes?

Remind yourself how hyped people were for those.

WHAT ? It tottaly could've worked if they were eligible on all jobs(like turn on and off). It's a good risk factor

I actually think all jobs should be pro jobs. Eventually a HUGE cash should be paid for replaying a failed multi-day heist. So there's any respectable risk. No risk = no fun.

Remember Goat Pro DW? Framing Frame Pro DW? THIS was adrenaline.

Just shows that people only want things because they don't have it, not because they actually want to use these.

The garbage implementation didn't help.
Mutator that makes the game harder? Get penalized. No decreasing stats, etc.
