Colour coded loot bags.
Simple one right here. Just have the different loot bags corespond to a different colour so players will know what bag contains what.

Paintings - Remain as they are
Gold - Dark Yellow (Or a dull Gold hue)
Meth - Light Blue (Same colour as the Meth pills themselves?)
Cocaine - White
Pure Columbian Cocaine - Brighter shade of white
Cash - Dark Green (Classic dollar sign on the bag too?)
Weapons - Black
Server - Retains the same universal loot bag colour we have currently, Dark Blue
Shell Bags - Yellow and Black stripes
Jewelry - Dark Grey
Samurai Armour - Red and Yellow stripes
Bomb Part - Bright Red
Almir's Toast - Brown
Engine # (Big Oil) - Light Green Equipment bag seen on GO Bank (Cage Parts) and Bomb Heists (Ladders)
Artifact (Shadow Raid) - Big bulging bag (colour is up for debate)
Artifact (The Diamond) - Cream coloured

Also suggest that super heavy bags take the form of Body Bag sized entities or something of equal size as a visual cue for players.

In addition, maybe allow players to re-secure Equipment bags such as Thermal Drills back into Escape vehicles for an additonal bag bonus? Leaving such large equipment as evidence behind on scene seems counterproductive... :3

Thanks for reading!

...you know you can walk up to the bag, look at it, and right smack in the middle of your screen it tells you whats in it.

I don't use HUD mods.

I'm all for resecuring thermal drills. Bain'll appreciate it, no doubt.

Not sure about colour-coding all the different loot types though. Rainbow bags might be stretching suspension of disbelief a bit far.

I'd either go for adding the name of what's in the bag into the prompt itself, like some mods do, or just colouring them by weight. I like to know things like that, but having too many bags colours would start to look weird. Especially on jobs like Shadow Raid where you could have five or more colours of bags at once.

Well, I just want a way (any way) to different shade bag types, really.

In hindsight, too many colours to memorize *is* bad and I apologize. But regardless, classing bags by weight alone is prolly sufficient enough for my needs of which ones to prioritize more.

Well, there they could still give the bags a colored stripe representing their weight.
Light, Medium, heavy, very heavy, Fusion Engine (Same as Very Heavy, but with shorter throw distance)
Would probably go for
Light - White or none
Medium - Green
Heavy - Yellow
Very Heavy/Fusion Engine - Red

I've suggested colour-coding the bags, as well, but I'd personally like to go for a simpler system. Too many colours and patterns is as confusing as none at all. I would break the bags down like so:

Gold - brown leather duffle bag[www.selectism.com]
Money - army green duffle bag[www.calarmy.com]
Drugs (of any kind) - dull grey duffle bag[i.ebayimg.com]
Jewellery - navy blue duffle bag[cdna.lystit.com]
Mission equipment - bright orange duffle bag[fighterxfashion.com]
Mission objectives - bright red duffle bag[www.bagiva.com]

Mission equipment would be stuff like the Thermal Drill or the drugs in Cook Off, or the C4 is Hotline Miami/The Bomb: Forest, etc.
Mission objectives would be the diamond in Big Diamond, the bomb patrs in The Bomb heists, etc.
I'm not entirely sure what to do with the Transport: Train ammo. Probably just leave it as it is.

Not a bad idea, but they'd probably streamline it to 2 to 4 simple colours, just to make it better and easier for players to differentiate. Yellow is already used for ammo on Train Heist.

Each item does tell you before you pick up what you are getting, so make use of that info.

I like this idea more.
