No.
No reason not to put it in, and it makes perfect sense. I find it odd Overkill hadn't done it already.
Also:
He's right.
Help the team, do the objectives, and you'll be loved more than if you're just rambo'ing...
I suppose that's true. Still, you did go through the effort of getting the agent handcuffed, then converted (and you go up the right side of mastermind 'n such to get all the skills required for him to kill better and live longer)... so I'd expect their kills to count for you due to you losing about 28 skill points on just that one AI.
Edit: For example. You spent over 36 skill points just to get your sentry guns aced and ready to defend a location - and their kills count. Sure they're using ammo that you have to refill for, but you still have to take care of them and keep them defending a location. (This can be said for a converted FBI agent. You had to get him to cuff himself, and convert him safely. Not only that, you have to make sure he doesn't get shot down too much or else he can't kill enemies on his own. So in turn - you use your ammo to get something that kills things for you (Just like the sentry gun), so why doesn't the converted unit count kills for you?)
- They both can die from too much damage, they both use their own ammunition supply, and they both kill enemies when they're in range. The only difference is, the FBI unit has an ammunition supply of his own (But you still had to use your own ammunition to capture him in the first place. He isn't invincible either - so it's a trade off of the shield the sentry gets)
Boy, don't be pointing at me saying I think kill statistics are the only thing that matters. In my own builds, I revive teammates over and over throughout some heists (over 10 times in some cases), trade cuffed cops (like the guy I convert) in order to get teammates back and etc. The only thing the game is going to track of you though (to show what you got top in) is accuracy, or most downs. Doesn't show the amount of times you revived others, doesn't show the amount of cops you intimidated or converted - not even the kills of them either. My build (which I cannot be asked to make ANOTHER guide on) has weapons designed to dominate, not kill. So my kills are barely passing 50 although the kills of my Jokered tan's easily surpass 100. So the game sort of makes you seem as if you're not assisting the team. (And trust me, you may be in this group too, there are some idiots out there who can't tell who helped the team the most due to them only focusing on themselves). =u=
