Changing the names of some heists

Call me pedantic (please, it's my only sense of identity), but I feel some heists are named very poorly, be it through awkward choices or outdated design. I'd like to look through a few of them and explain why I feel they should be renamed.

Bank Hesit: ____

Back when the game only had one bank heist, it made sense to call it "the bank heist." Now that we have GO Bank, Big Bank and First World Bank, it makes more sense to rename those heists. I'd call them "H&T Bank: ____." That would make it consistent with all the other Something Bank heists. You can try to be cheeky and call it "Small Bank: ____" but that's optional.

The Alesso Heist

First of all, this should really be called "Gensec Arena," because that's what it is. We're going to the Gensec Arean to rob the Gensec safe expo, and Alesso just happens to have a concert there at the time. Failing that - provided Overkill are contractually obligated to have Alesso's name in the heist title, call it "Alesso Concert" ot some such. At the very least, can we get rid of the "The" at the start. You don't say "The Goat Simulator Heist" or "The Hoxton Breakout."

Transport: Train Heist

Get rid of the "Heist" part of the name. Not only is everything a heist, calling this "Transport: Train" would put it in-line with the rest of the Armoured Transport heists. The naming convention here is Transport: Something. Train Heist is the only one with "Heist" in the name, and there's no reason for it. It sticks out like a sore thumb.

The Bomb: ____

Get rid of the "The" from the heist. I realise we're talking about THE bomb, but there's nothing terribly special about that thermobaric bomb. We steal eight nukes on Meltdown and it's not called "The Nukes: Meltdown." "Bomb: Forest" and "Bomb: Dockyard" would be perfectly fine.

The Big Bank

I can sort of see the point here, since the Benevolent Bank really is THE "big bank" in town. Nevertheless, "The" in titles bothers me and it messes with alphabetisation. I'd like to get rid of that.

The Diamond

Yes, yes, get rid of the "The," you know the drill. The Diamond has a much bigger problem, however, in that it's very easily mistaken for Diamond Store. No, the names aren't identical, but they're close enough to be confusing. Why not call it "Big Diamond" (or THE Big Diamond if we HAVE to keep the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ definite article). Failing that, why not use its real name, the Hope Diamond? Just anything to make it obvious that "Diamond" isn't short for "Diamond Store."

The Biker Heist

Oh, geez, the descriptive naming. Can a heist name be any less creative. We got "The Biker" as a character, he comes with a "Heist," we'll call it "The Biker + Heist." Yay. Why not show some imagination and call it... Well, "Breaking Overkill?" We are, after all, killing everyone in the Overkill MC, plus it's a nice play on the developer's name. Or how about "Rust's Secret," since that's what it is? Or, if we really hate creativity, why not just call it "The Biker Club?" That's what it is in-continuity, after all.

Goat Simulator

I suspect this exist because of a branding deal, but there's no real in-canon reason to have the word "simulator" in the heist's name. Goat Simulator the game cheekily pretends to simulate being a goat. The Goat Simulator heist in Payday, by contrast, is about stealing goats used as drug mules. Drug goats. Why not be cheeky and call it something like "Grand Theft Goat" or just... I don't know, "The Goat Heist" to go with all the other uncreative "The Thing + Heist" names? Or you can try to be weird (you know, like the game) and call it something along the lines of "Goat Shenanigans."

Goat Sim and Alesso Heist probably can't be renamed due to brand deals.

The Diamond is IMO a perfectly appropriate name since it's often referred to as The Diamond due to its nature as a massive diamond. It's THE definitive diamond.

The Bank Heists could probably use an update, but the rest I feel is fine, with two suggestions:

Goat Simulator could probably be named Goat Stimulator as a pun to the coke smuggled.

And the Biker Heist definitely needs a better name either one fitting the Rust narrative, or one representative of the heist ('The Iron Horse' alluding to both the motorcycle and train aspects of the heist).

Oh. I also agree with the Bomb suggestions.

On "The Diamond:" OK, fair point. Re-watching Clover's trailer on it, she makes it clear that "to us heisters, it's just The Diamond." So then, how about something along the lines of "Stealing The Diamond?" "The Diamond Caper?" Or, if you want to be spooky like Clover, why not "The Diamond's Curse" or "The Cursed Diamond?"

On Collab Heists: Yeah, I figured as much. "Goat Simulator" isn't TOO bad even if it makes little sense because it can still be interpreted as a cheeky name. "The Alesso Heist" needs to change, though, even if it's as simple as removing the definite article. We're not robbing "The Alesso" nor collaborating with him, funny as that would have been. It doesn't even have the excuse of "The Biker Heist" since Alesso is a personal name or at least a moniker. It also ♥♥♥♥♥ with the heists' alphabetic order, which makes finding that heist in the list really annoying.

And yes, I would probably have a problem with The Diamond Heist from PD:TH :) That game didn't have as many heists as PD2 to create a pattern from. Even then, the names of the rest of them are still pretty cool. Counterfit, Undercover, Slaughterhouse, First World Bank, Panic Room - they're all descriptive of each heist's nature without being blatantly just a write up of the heist's plot. It's not The Panic Room Heist, is it?

Stealing Xmas is a reference to "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" I believe, which is why they went with that specific phrasing. Could have gone with "How Vlad Stole Xmas" too, I suppose :) You're literally stealing people's christmas gifts in that one, after all.

Plus it's a different contractor (Classic, not Dentist or Bain)

Hover-Over has the Dentist for The Diamond, Bain for Diamond Store and Classic for Diamond Heist - that's pretty easy to distinguish.
