So how that will make people like to play against chaos? Enemies remain the same. Yes, they will be weaker and easier to deal with but if you were looking for that, you could just play lvl 1 or 2. Solution was already there and could be used all day long without making 3-4 easier.
a: swarmed by tzzangors with shields made from adamantium
b: 7+ snipers trying to shoot you forcing you too dodge all the time and waste ammo on puny cultists
c: a+b combined and you cant do nothing just dodging.
Rubric Marines spawn rate nerf isnt something I like, but I see why it was a problem, having 10+ Rubric Marine on arena and teleporting constantly so every one of them is in different place shooting at you from all angles, yea It can be pretty annoying with how tanky they are.
which still should not be necessary against Tzaangors when using a thunder hammer
Some content is difficulty-gated (which is dumb imo). So if you want to unlock all the weapons, you must play at the hardest difficulty. For some players, this is not possible for whatever reason.
I saw Darktide gameplay and the bolt pistol is actually what i would imagine what bolt pistol look/feels like, in SM2 it feels like a nerf gun.
Tell me how many sucessful games players actively play that have bullet sponges?
I understand your point but here we are not only seeing dealing with bullet sponges, also numbers of enemies and on top of that some insane armor regeneration rework.
Counter question: how long will people play same missions on repeat when it offers 0 challenge + you can finish it while playing with your balls at the same time because you 1-2 shot most of fewer remaining enemies and there are also 2 other Space Marines on the map?
dont even need to have too many enemies at the same time, to not tank the performance, but have a more constant spawnrate and less time between waves and maybe spawn
more extremis/terminus, like 2 lichtor or even 2 carnifex at Ruthless difficulty.
You recognize this scenario as a challenge?
