Now we getting some interesting thoughts. I am now thinking it would be cool if a future dlc (since there is no news what will be in season pass) did a large number vs small number Tyranid vs Space Marine versus set up. For example with 32 players, 29 vs 3, where the 29 tryanids (starting as mere drones), try to eliminate the 3 heavily armed badasses.
Just a thought since the future of the season pass is unsure. Same idea can work on smaller scale of 16 or 8 (simply increase how quickly, and how large the tyranid players can evolve into other types for balance). It all about trying to achieve a player versus player controlled horde mode, that is somewhat balanced and fun for both sides.
Space Marine 1 is 4 player co-op
Darktide is 4 player co-op
Helldivers 2 is 4 player co-op
And I regularly play these games with 3 others. . . guess I have to decide which friend I like the least. : /
Exactly, so the expectation is Space Marine 2 would have pairity with this. If it's only 3 player co-op for the story that's okay. But downgrading the dedicated co-op mode from 4 players to 3 players is a dissapointment. : (
So it means less work since they can just recycle the game mode.
