No idea about the rest of the game though
TLDR: SDD improves loading times not fps, so if you have enough room install on SSD if not then HDD.
To be clear though, I wasn't expecting this, I was just expecting faster load times (which definitely is the case) but Planetside 2 is probably one of the few games that would receive such a drastic FPS boost from an SSD considering the size and way it constantly loading and unloading data.

Also, once your SSD gets over 50 percent it will lose some of its speed (still faster than a regular hard drive though), so i try to keep mine at around 50 percent free. Another reason i uninstalled Planeside 2 from the SSD.
