I did... thats why I asking if other people could also try it that have nothing to lose.. just dont move your orginal save file .... I want to know if the results are the same as mine
ok I look into check the GFWL .bin file and the steam .bin file in a hexeditor to see if I can manual do a mirgation...
opening the .bin in a notepad ect just gives out garbage
But if you do that, you may not get your stats or achievs - will you?
I suggest holding a backup.
posisble.. I more intrested in the save file data not about the usless achevements
As long as you're not playing alone, of course.
*cough* Professional difficulty with an AI partner *cough*
or I can wait for the mirgation tool. The steam version is NOT gold unless you get the gold dlc.. I havn;t bothered with the dlc ect.
Please google for Batman Arkham Asylum Live to Steam save hex edit or something like this, this way it could possibly work for RE5, but i think it will be only save file anyway, no achivements, no stats taht stored in GFWL storage outsite of game save file. So it would be only half of migration.
thats better then having to restart over when u already have max ever thing.. Getting achevements and stuff would be consider the easy part then if one cared enough
